Krista L. Haynes, R.D., L.D.
Krista L. Haynes, R.D., L.D., is a staff dietitian for The Cancer Project. Her background includes research on the association between red and processed meat consumption and the risk of colorectal cancer and promoting increased fruit and vegetable consumption for chronic disease prevention in coordination with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s campaign.
Ms. Haynes earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and completed her supervised dietetic internships through the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at The University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Haynes also holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and has experience in public and media relations. |
